TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Blakeney Ironworks Hooptop Railings are manufactured from high quality mild steel and are supplied with plated nuts and bolts.
The hoop tops are formed from 12mm round bar and the rails from 25mm x 6mm flat bar.
Posts are cut from 48.3mm diameter tube with a 3mm wall thickness to ensure long life.
All other parts are made in the same quality steel.
Plastic caps are produced in polypropylene and to our own design.

We recommend that all steel parts are wire brushed to remove any residual scale and oxidisation before being painted with a good quality metal primer. Prior to assembly paint all parts paying particular attention to the inside of rails and post clips. Plastic caps are lightly textured to provide good adhesion for painting.

Our 1700mm pack is supplied in a strong carton and weighs 45kg. Please be aware of pack weight when lifting or moving. We recommend using a sack truck or similar to move packs to installation site.
